Operations Manager (Engineering) - Ballymoney Area - Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a well-established engineering company specialising in metal fabrication, CNC machining, and bespoke product design. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead operational activities, ensure efficient production, and deliver high-quality projects across a diverse client base.
About the role:
- £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Oversee daily manufacturing and production activities
- Manage stock control, procurement, and supply chain operations
- Ensure workflow runs efficiently to meet output and quality targets
- Review and refine operational processes to increase productivity
- Implement improvements to reduce waste, shorten lead times, and control costs
- Monitor performance metrics and drive operational excellence
- Plan and allocate resources effectively across projects
- Ensure bespoke engineering projects are delivered within budget and on schedule
What you'll need for this role:
- Proven experience in an operations or production management role within engineering or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of fabrication and CNC machining environments
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities
- Experience driving operational improvements and efficiencies
- Commercially aware with strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
