Manufacturing Supervisor - Coleraine - Permanent
A specialist manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a small team and support continued growth. This hands-on role will oversee day-to-day production, ensuring targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently met while driving efficient operations and continuous improvement.
About the role:
- £14.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday (7:30am – 4:00pm)
- Flexibility for extended shifts (6am–6pm) and on-call availability on Saturdays

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Supervise and lead a team of production operatives, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
- Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and performance reviews with staff.
- Support training and development of team members, including onboarding of new starters.
- Liaise with management, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.
What you'll need for this role:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (panel, timber, food, engineering, or similar).
- Proven experience managing or supervising staff.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and production processes.
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
