Human Resources Officer - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon
An opportunity for a Human Resources Officer in Armagh to provide professional HR support across a broad range of employee relations, recruitment, and HR policy matters. The role involves advising managers, supporting investigations, delivering training, and promoting equality and good workplace practices across the organisation.
About this role:
- £19.81 per hour
- Monday to Friday (9.00am to 5.00pm)
- 37 hours a week
- 6-month contract with potential for extension.
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Provide professional HR advice and support to managers on policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Support investigations, chair meetings, and assist with disciplinary, grievance, and attendance management cases.
- Lead and coordinate recruitment processes, including panels and selection methods.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and liaise with payroll on salary and contract matters.
- Prepare documentation for Fair Employment and Industrial Tribunal proceedings, liaising with legal advisers as needed.
- Develop and implement HR solutions through mediation, dispute resolution, and early intervention strategies.
- Deliver training and guidance to line managers on HR policies and processes.
- Promote equality, diversity, and good relations across the organisation.
What you'll need for this role:
- Experience providing professional HR support and advice across a broad range of employment matters.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Experience managing employee relations cases and supporting investigations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to deliver training and guidance to managers.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and good relations in the workplace.
- Satisfactory Basic AccessNI check.
