Internal Sales Support - Coleraine Area - Permanent
 
 An excellent opportunity for an Internal Sales Support professional to join a busy sales and customer service team. The role involves supporting external sales, managing customer enquiries, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring smooth sales operations while delivering a high standard of service.
 
About the role:
  • £Competitive salary
  • Monday to Friday (8.00am - 5.00pm)

What you'll be doing in this role:
  •  Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone or email.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and assist with pricing decisions to help support sales and margin targets.
  • Process and manage customer orders through internal systems efficiently and accurately.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to confirm stock availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Assist with monitoring stock levels and identifying cost-effective supply opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, order histories, and pricing structures.
  • Follow up on quotes and outstanding orders to maximise conversion and support margin improvement.
  • Stay up to date with product ranges, market pricing, and customer needs to help maintain our competitive edge.
What you'll need for this role:
  • Experience in a sales support, trade counter, or internal sales role would be advantageous (ideally in tools, industrial supplies, or hardware).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to build rapport with customers quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, trade-focused environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with CRM or ERP software is a bonus.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
