In this role you will provide carpentry services to manufacture wall panels and construction of floors according to specifications provided undertaking the operation of machinery and hand power tools.

About the role:
- £Competitive salary
- Monday to Thursday (6am – 5pm)
- 40 hours a week
- Temporary and Permanent opportunities available

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Reading and understanding of production technical drawings and specifications to provide the necessary carpentry activity in the production of walls and floors.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Complete documentation to measure quality and efficiency at each stage of production.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of production machinery as required.
- Uphold a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure adherence to project requirements
- To be familiar with and fully comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and guidelines.
- To apply a high personal standard of housekeeping, operating safety equipment and using safe working habits at all times.
- To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the business.
What you'll need for this role:
- Proven experience of working in a carpentry role preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing / workshop environment with the ability to read and interpret information from technical drawings is essential
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in carpentry/joinery would be advantageous
- Strong understanding and demonstrable competency of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools
- Effective communication with colleagues and suppliers at all levels.
- Quality and attention to detail skills
