About the role:

- Casual hours, as and when required
- Temporary, ongoing post

What will you be doing in the role:
- To support (Level 1) and lead (GAI) to successfully deliver a programme of gymnastics at various venues.
- Assist/lead with the Delivery of the gymnastics programme in line with the British Gymnastics and Rise guidelines
- To assist with the delivery of structured schemes of work that promotes progression for all participants.
- Identify the needs of the group/ individual.
- Liaise with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s Sports Development staff and the relevant NGB Development Officers for successful implementation/ delivery.
- Help develop a pathway for children to progress in gymnastics skills.
What you'll need for the role:
- A current United Kingdom Club Coach Level 1 General Gymnastics Assistant Coach or Gymnastics Activity Instructor Qualification (GAI) is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year post qualification experience in a commercial leisure environment is desirable.
- As the nature of this post is likely to involve working with or being in close contact with children and/or vulnerable adults any offer of appointment will be subject to an Enhanced AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position. A copy of our Policy on the Recruitment of Ex-Offenders and the AccessNI Code of Practice is available on request.
