Loading Bay Operative – Limavady - Full Time
We're recruiting Loading Bay Operatives for a leading employer in Limavady. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production environment, offering excellent work-life balance, competitive pay and the chance to become part of a supportive team.
As a Loading Bay Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods, helping to keep operations running smoothly while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
About the role:

- 40 hours per week (overtime available)
- Shift bonus available
What will you be doing in this role:
- Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
- Checking and verifying incoming and outgoing goods
- Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks
- Sorting, storing, and organising stock in the designated areas.
- Ensuring the loading bay is kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Following health and safety protocols to minimise risks.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
- Reporting any damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
What requirements are needed for this role:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading bay role (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Good organisational and teamwork skills.
- Forklift or other MHE certification (desirable).
- Combi Lift experience preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
