What you will be doing in this role?
- Prepare and review financial statements for clients
- Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns for both individuals and businesses, ensuring timely and accurate filing
- Provide clients with tax planning advice and financial recommendations
- Assist clients with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing their accounting needs.
- Conduct audits and provide audit support as required.
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant 3rd party authorities regarding client matters
- Keep up to date with accounting and tax regulations to ensure accurate and compliant service delivery
What requirements are needed for this role?
- Experience within accountancy practice
- Understanding of tax, accounting, and audit procedures
- Formal qualifications such as ACA/ACCA
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
