About the role:
  • Full time permanent
  • Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, 1 hour for lunch
  • £Negotiable salary 
  • Permanent opportunity 
Key duties:
  • Running all aspects of the sales ledger function
  • Raising and producing sales invoices
  • Interact with customers on a daily basis, answering queries and resolving issues relating to invoices
  • Banking and reconciliations, ensuring accounts balances are accurate and up to date
  • Reconciling credit card and cheque payments
  • Running off turnover statements
  • Followed up on outstanding debts or unpaid invoices
  • Sorting out any rebates and filing
  • Providing creditors with VAT receipts
  • General Office/Accounts administration
Criteria:
  • Previous/recent experience in a similar sales ledger role
  • Would suit a part or qualified Accounts Technician (not essential)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident using MS Office packages
