Product & Brand Development Executive - Ballymoney - Christies Direct

Key Duties:
 
  • Create new products and brands from opportunity right through to production
  • Develop strategies to position the brands for growth
  • Inform decisions with analysis of competitors’ brands, consumer trends, and shopping behaviours
  • Monitor and improve the performance of brands through key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Initiate profit targets, product launch timelines, and budgets
  • Design and supervise content such as press releases, artwork, print and digital media
  • Organise product launches and promotional events in conjunction with the wider marketing team
  • Develop industry leading retail packaging
  • Maintain contact with customers to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team, ensuring timely release of effective campaigns in line with launches, and in support of brand performance goals
  • Work with purchasing and marketing teams to complete industry-famous annual catalogue
  • Create and develop compelling stories around new and existing brands and products to position the business at the head of the pack
Criteria:
 
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field.
  • 2+ Years experience in a similar role (placement year can be considered).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong IT skills, including excellent knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
  • A flair for creating and delivering presentations, comfortable delivering them at all levels.
  • Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original idea.
