Riada are delighted to be working with a leading social economy organisation who are seeking a part time Finance/Admin Assistant.
Salary: £17,391 pro rata
Duration of post:  Approx. until December 2020
Hours Per Week: Part Time, 23 Hours Per Week 
Location: Coleraine 
Finance Duties:
  • To prepare and manage, in conjunction with other Coordinators, project budgets for approval.
  • To establish and maintain financial systems, manage and monitor spend and complete quarterly, annual and other required returns;
  • To maintain computerised and manual financial records and ledgers (where necessary using excel and Sage software), cheque accounts, petty cash etc.
  • To provide information for the creation of monthly financial reports for presentation to the Manager and to the Board of Directors.
  • To maintain and prepare records and documents required for release of moneys from funders.
Administration Duties:
  • To provide administrative support to necessary internal coordinators within the organisation.
  • To attend and contribute to relevant meetings as required and take and distribute minutes on an ongoing basis.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors.
  • Answering incoming calls, taking messages or transferring calls as appropriate.
  • Organise meetings and events, including the booking of venues, send out invitations and prepare agendas as appropriate.
  • To monitor and order office supplies, goods and services.
  • Ensure that incoming mail is received, recorded, sorted and distributed and out-going mail is prepared for dispatch.
  • To assist internal coordinators and contribute to fund-raising applications and reports - assisting with layout and presentation of applications and development of budget proposals and/or reports to funders and Board of Directors.
  • Five passes at GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Word-processing - OCR Stage II or equivalent or demonstrate 2 Years recent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of working in a financial and administrative role. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experienced in the use of internet, email and social media to produce and distribute promotional media.
