Riada are recruiting on behalf of Northern Ireland Housing Executive for a number of Senior Officers.

Location: Adelaide Street, Belfast.
Salary: £12.35 - £14.92 ph (Grade LV05)
Hours of Work: This post is full time, 37 hours, Monday to Friday. 
Benefits: 33 days annual leave
 
You role will focus on NIHE 'Supporting People' Strategy, as you assist in the review, development and implementation of company strategy, policies, operations and procedures. Your strong communication and organisational skills will ensure you succeed in this fast paced, results orientated environment.
 
Duties include:
  • Assist in the assessment of risk in relation to 'Supporting People' funded services and/ or strategic projects.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on the strategic relevance of services funded through the Supporting People programme.
  • Arrange and as required attend meetings with external stakeholders to progress 'Supporting People' objectives and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures including the 'Supporting People' Funding Agreement.
  • Assist in monitoring the quality and performance of 'Supporting People' funding services/ projects.
  • Provide information on the performance of Supporting People funded services/ projects against key milestones and agreed KPI and SPI indicators
**Please note you must meet the below criteria before applying**
 
Criteria:
  • A Degree or equivalent professional qualification plus 1 year’s relevant experience in 3 of the 5 competency areas.
    OR
  • BTEC Higher or equivalent Professional Qualification, plus at least 2 years’ relevant experience working in 3 of the 5 competency areas.
    OR
  • 3 years’ relevant experience working in 3 of the 5 competency areas.
Competency Areas: 
  • Experience in effectively communicating with statutory and voluntary agencies and developing effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders. 
  • Experience in strategy or business improvement (requiring good negotiation and communication skills)
  • Experience in conducting investigation, research, or monitoring performance against agreed targets and drafting reports
  • Experience in managing competing priorities and working to deadlines.
  • Experience in the general day to day organisation of the work place and staff management under the supervision of a senior officer.
As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic Access NI Disclosure.  Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
