Purchasing / Procurement Assistant - Ballymoney - Permanent
 
Established for 30 years, our client are a multi award winning business. Due to continued success, they have a new position available for a purchasing assistant to join their team. Call Shannon on 028 7032 6600 to find out more. 
  • £Negotiable salary and benefits package
  • 30 - 37.5 hours per week
  • Permanent  
Duties will include: 
  • Negotiating with suppliers and placing Purchase Orders.
  • Maintaining product details on bespoke system – setting up new products and keeping details current, i.e., updating Bill of Materials.
  • Managing production schedules.
  • Arranging imports and checking duty.
  • Following up on invoice queries.
  • Analysing purchasing data & preparing reports for management team.
  • Working with Purchasing Manager on product selection and brand forecasts.
  • Planning promotion calendar & providing feedback on promotion success.  
Criteria: 
  • 12 months recent experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Buying position is essential 
  • GCSE Maths & English A-C or Equivalent.
  • Proven IT Skills – Including Office (Outlook and Excel are essential) and Office365, Teams.
